Stock Controller

The Role:

The Stock Controller is responsible for the comprehensive management of parts inventory, stock control and administrative functions as required by our Deep-Sea Service & Support Department. This role combines traditional inventory management with specialised duties including FASK (Fly Away Spares Kits) preparation, warranty processing and general administrative support.

• Inventory and Stock Management
• Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels of spare parts
• Process receipt of incoming stock & spares & prepare and dispatch spares and stock items.
• Liaise with freight companies regarding despatch, receipt and delivery dates
• Parts Distribution
• Check, pack and despatch
• Maintain accurate FASK inventory levels and composition requirements
• Administrative Functions
• Reconcile freight invoices with shipping records to confirm the accuracy of freight charges
• Assist with warranty paperwork and documentation
• Perform general administration duties to support department operations
• Maintain an efficient, clean, safe and secure warehouse section
• Regular use of computer systems and material handling equipment
• Regular lifting, moving, and handling of items in accordance with safe work practices

Criteria:

• Minimum 6 months experience in a similar role
• C Class Licence & reliable transport
• High Risk Forklift Licence (Required)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Problem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Physical ability to lift, move, and handle spare parts
• Dangerous Goods Awareness Certificate is highly desirable but not essential
• National Police Certificate & able to pass on boarding Drug & Alcohol test
